American Society for Asset Protection, LLC
Effective date: November 5, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the websites, educational materials, software, and related services offered by American Society for Asset Protection, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), including www.americansocietyforassetprotection.com (the "Website"). Our Privacy Policy at https://www.americansocietyforassetprotection.com/privacy-policy.php supplements these Terms. Please read both documents.
Acceptance Through Use. Your use of this Website reflects that you acknowledge and accept these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
1. Who we are
American Society for Asset Protection is an educational company. We are not a law firm, and our staff are not attorneys. The forms and materials we provide were created and reviewed by a team of attorneys, but using this Website, our software, or our educational program does not create an attorney-client relationship with the Company or with any attorney we may introduce you to.
Nothing on this Website, in our software, or in any email, call, or text from us is legal advice. If you have a legal question, that is a question for an attorney. Clients in our educational program may discuss their situation with the attorney who provides the program consultation.
2. Our educational program
Our program is a do-it-yourself educational offering. It typically includes educational materials, access to our client software and forms, and a consultation with an attorney. Completing legal documents and implementing any plan remains your responsibility, unless you separately hire an attorney under that attorney's own engagement agreement. Any such engagement is optional, separate from our program, and is between you and the attorney.
Program fees, payment options, and what is included in a purchase are described at the time you order. If you have a question about an order, a refund, or a cancellation, contact us using the information below. We review those requests individually; submitting a request does not guarantee a particular outcome.
3. Use of the Website and software
You may use the Website and, if you have an account, our client software only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the Website, attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, or copy, sell, or redistribute our materials except as we expressly allow (for example, using our forms for yourself, your family, friends, or partners as described in your program).
Some areas of the Website or software require registration. You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
4. Intellectual property
The Website, software, forms, presentations, and other materials we provide are owned by the Company or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the limited use rights included with a purchase or account, we do not grant you any ownership interest in those materials.
5. Third-party sites and services
The Website may link to other sites or tools, including scheduling or questionnaire pages, for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of third-party sites. Your use of those sites is subject to their own terms.
6. Text messaging (SMS) terms
This section describes the American Society for Asset Protection account and support text messaging program. Texts may be sent from (702) 820-5533 or another number we identify to you.
Program name and description. If you opt in, we may send you account and customer-support text messages about your relationship with American Society for Asset Protection. These messages may include onboarding help (such as completing your questionnaire and next steps after purchase), appointment or conference-call reminders, answers to support questions, and help starting a refund or cancellation request for our team to review. Messages may come from an AI assistant. Every such conversation identifies that it comes from an AI assistant, and you can ask for a person at any time by replying HUMAN or by calling or emailing us.
This program is for account and support messages. It is not a marketing or affiliate-lead program. We text only people who have opted in to receive texts from American Society for Asset Protection.
How you opt in. You opt in when you purchase services by checking a consent checkbox (it is not pre-checked, and it is optional) next to the cell phone field on our paper or online order form. The checkbox wording is:
"I agree to receive account and support text messages from American Society for Asset Protection at the cell number above, including from an AI assistant. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not required to purchase."
We send texts only to clients who check that box. You may also opt in by texting START, YES, or UNSTOP to our texting number after you have previously subscribed or as otherwise instructed by us. Consent is given directly to American Society for Asset Protection. Consent is not required to purchase any goods or services. Consent to receive texts is not bundled into some other agreement; it is collected through the checkbox or keyword described above.
Message frequency and rates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier's rates and terms apply to any messages you send or receive.
How to get help. Reply HELP or INFO to any text from us, call (877) 992-7738, or email Support@AmericanSocietyForAssetProtection.com. A human on our team is available if you ask for one.
How to opt out. Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT to cancel. After you opt out, we will send a confirmation and you will receive no further texts from that program unless you opt in again (for example, by texting START). Carriers may also treat CANCEL as an opt-out keyword.
Sharing of mobile information. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent are never shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They are shared only with service providers who help us deliver the messages, such as our texting platform. This is also stated in our Privacy Policy at https://www.americansocietyforassetprotection.com/privacy-policy.php.
Unsupported carriers and delivery. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Availability may vary by carrier and device.
Eligibility. By opting in, you represent that you are the subscriber of the mobile number you provide, or that you are authorized to consent on the subscriber's behalf, and that you are at least 18 years of age.
7. Disclaimers
The Website, software, forms, and educational materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Website or software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any educational material or form is complete or appropriate for your specific situation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Website, software, or services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the program or service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.
